Stiff-Joint expansion joint (also known as Mel-joint) is a rigid, closed cell foam joint. Ideal for expansion joints in pathways and driveways. Meljoint board is bitumen free and is stronger and less brittle than Canite bitumen fibre board and has non-absorbent properties. It is also fire retardant up to 100⁰C.

Stiffjoint is available in 2.4m long strips in 75mm and 100mm wide. It is commonly used in footpaths and is specified for use by some local councils.
