Steel dowel bars are used to transfer dynamic loads across joints in concrete slabs. Steel dowels are a critical component in slab joints which are subject to high loads such as warehouse floors.

When used with a sleeve arrangement such as Dowelmaster or Speedsleeve, the dowel ensures the slab can expand and contract horizontally without deflecting up and down when a load such as a forklift drives across the slab joint.

Safari Group stocks a full range of round and square dowel bars including plain steel finish, galvanised and stainless steel. We stock a broad range of diameter dowels and associated sleeves from 12mm all the way up to 36mm and beyond.

We can custom cut to your requirement, with our in-house dowel cutting facilities ensuring rapid order turnaround and quick delivery to site.

Our stainless steel dowels are available in Grade 304 and Grade 316, to suit the most corrosive situations such as jetty & wharf constructions or chemical processing facilities.
