PGI (Flat Bond-Breaker)

A$0.00

PGI Bondbreaker is used in the construction and formwork industry to create a slip-joint or non bonding surface between concrete slabs and walls. It is a metal sheet cut to size with a galvanised coating for corrosion protection.

Bond Breaker strips are commonly laid on top of brick walls, before the concrete slab is poured over the top. This allows the slab to ‘float’ over over the top of the load-bearing wall, allowing for expansion and contraction of the slab.

At Safari we stock the PGI bondbreaker strips in a range of widths for many applications, and we can also custom cut to your project requirement.

We also stock chemical bond breaker which is used on the tilt-up concrete slab industry.
