Safecure 2000® is a premium water-based curing compound which complies to AS 3799. It is a blend of resins and surfactants emulsified in water and has been specially formulated to cure freshly-laid concrete in outdoor applications.

The impervious film formed by SafeCure 2000 prevents excessive water evaporation, promotes efficient cement hydration, and minimises shrinkage while increasing surface durability.

Due to its unique formulation and blend of resins, SafeCure 2000 will begin to break down under UV exposure after 7 days and will completely oxidise and leave the surface within 55 days when applied as recommended. It should not be applied where UV rays will not reach, particularly indoors.

Safecure 2000 has been used on many high-profile sites throughout Australia such as government projects and minesite construction, and continues to grow in popularity due to its high performance coupled with ease of use and cost effectiveness.

It is avaliable in 20L, 200L and 1000L containers.

SURFACE APPLICATION

Apply SafeCure 2000® to concrete as soon as bleed water has gone and concrete has hardened sufficiently so as not to be marked by the application process. Apply undiluted at a rate of 1L/5m², so a 20L drum will cover approximately 100m2 of concrete. This product is best applied by spraying, but may also be applied by brush roller or broom. Ensure all equipment is cleaned with water after use.
