Safari stocks a comprehensive range of round reinforcing bar in various stock lengths and diameters. Sometimes referred to as smooth bar or R bar, round reinforcing bar is often used in brick piers, ligatures, cages and other applications.

We keep round bar in R6, R10, R12, R16, R20 & R24mm diameters in stock at all times, in mild steel and galvanised steel. Round bar does not have the same tensile strength or MPA rating as deformed (N) reinforcing bar, so cannot be used as a substitute unless engineer approved.
